Questions about the basics of coffee roasting?

Hi everyone!

Scott Rao and I are putting together a workshop in January about the basics of coffee roasting as a live demo. We're structuring the content right now and I thought I'd reach out and ask for you advice on the kinds of things people are most keen to know about when it comes to the basics of roasting. What are you most interested in knowing about, equipment, how to treat different varietals of green coffee, roast profiles, roast curves, safety, cupping, the science behind it...etc etc.

All feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

Anyone wanting to learn the basics of roasting or fill in the knowledge they already have by revisiting the fundaments.
