Well I'd say it really depends on what brew methods you prefer, how much space you have to work with, etc. The current all-around best grinder for the $$$ is the Baratza Vario, well based on other forum feedback that is. I think it's around the $430 mark and can supposedly do any grind needed and does it well based on what users are saying. I do question the longevity of the plastics used in this grinder, especially for what it cost. Later!
