I am just starting out and have read all I can find on roasting to date. I am still however looking for a jumping off place for roasting profiles. what temp and times? I just got my roaster ( a 3 kilo) and would like to start out with a good basis before I burn up a few pounds. I hope to get a few different suggestions so I can try them. anyone willing to heop this soul in need?

Pre-heat to 400 F., Drop in a full load 3 kg. Temp should drop to about 250 F and then start to rise again. Try to hit 410 to 415 in about 16 minutes. You may have to back off the heat the last few minutes. 8)
