Do you roast any special way for cold brew?

No, I roast coffee that has the flavors that are what I am looking for in the cold brew.

I don't roast differently but I definitely choose certain coffees with flavours that will lend themselves better to serving cold.

I should start a poll, just to see how many people drink iced coffee black, and if they just take black coffee and add ice.

I agree. My preference is just to brew as I would for regular coffee in my chemex, bring down to room temp,
then refrigerate. I like Yirg. dropped at first sign 2nd crack , and also Gaut. Antigua dropped a little further.
I like to drink them S.O. Years ago I tried cold brewing. Have to admit, I could not find the right amount of water to
add to the concentrate afterwards(probably should have kept trying!). But I find for me any way, regular cooled
fresh roasted coffee makes great ice coffee. If it gets really hot out, I will make a tray of coffee cubes.
By the way Peter, I like just a little half & half with my ice coffee.

You would not believe how many pounds of ice coffee cubes we go through in our flag ship store...on average we are going through close to 700 lbs of coffee cubes a week!
