Hello all. I have a A.J. Deer Royal Coffee Roaster in my garage and I am not totally sure what model it is and how much it would be worth if I put it up for sale. I think it is a #1 and it appears to be all original including the motor.

Here are some pics to look at:

Would love some honest feedback on the worth of this roaster.

I think you are correct. Looks like a #1. It looks a little rough...but you could probably clean it up pretty easily. Seems like it's all there..needs a belt. The big questions is...does the motor run.

Not sure about the motor running. I did not want to plug anything in because I was not sure if power supply from 1912 was the same as today and I did not want to burn anything out if it was good.

James,
I have had several people on different forums tell me that it is worth between $500 and $750 in the condition it is in and around $2500-$3000 if it were restored. I have no time to restore it so I am open to offers. I live in the Charlotte, NC area.

Have you sold it? Im looking for an antique roaster to play with.

Yes it has been sold to a coffee shop in Ruferton, NC that is going to restore it. Best of Luck finding one for your own project.
