Shipping and packaging.

I am getting reading to start shipping coffee from Colombia. I was wondering if anyone has done this and how much they spend. I am also curious about packaging too and the cost associated with it.

hey Galyean,
need more info to give you some constructive information.
1. what are you shipping? green coffee? roasted coffee? and to where? by ocean or air? shipping by loose cargo? or by 20' container? hand-stacked or by pallet.
(by the way, if you use pallet, for green coffee, you can put about 20 bags (100 lbs = 1 bag). for roasted coffee, about half of that q'ty.

2. regards to packaging, are you shipping green coffee? or roasted coffee?
if green coffee, are you using jute bag? or Grainpro bag inside of jute bag?

I can give you some idea and information, but i need more info from you.
