Sister Struggling with Addiction and Needs Help

Hi, sorry for off-topic question again.

I’m reaching out because my sister is in a really bad place right now. She fell into drug addiction after going through a very emotionally damaging relationship with her boyfriend. It’s heartbreaking to watch her spiral, and our family is doing everything we can to help her. We’re now seriously considering moving her into a sober living home so she can focus on her recovery in a stable and supportive environment.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience with this. Is it a good idea to move her to a sober house at this stage? Will it really help her take the first steps toward healing and staying clean long-term? I know every person’s journey is different, but I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences.

We want to make sure we’re doing the right thing for her and not just making a quick decision. If you’ve been through something similar or know someone who has, please let me know what worked and what to watch out for. Any support or suggestions would mean a lot.
