I have found a Mac 2000 single group automatic for $350 He said it worked when he bought it from the shop used but put it in storage for 3 yrs. Is this a good investment or do I look at a new unit? I was only gonna spend less than $500 on a new one when I saw this. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Craig

There can be alot of "IFs" with this one. IF it was working 100% when stored... IF it was stored properly with no chance of anything freezing rupturing... IF you can bring it back to life and have the space, electricity, plumbing capacity...

How long/hard was it used when "he" bought it? What are your intentions with it if purchased?

I counted 5 if's. That's just one to many for me. Find out how old it is first. If its older then 10 years then your probably going to have to dump in quite a bit of money into it. NS hasn't made a Mac 2000 for a few years now so its going to be getting up there in years.
