    Niche Zero : worth $600 ?

Niche Zero is a conical burr coffee grinder from UK.
Initially, it was Indiegogo fund project which..... became quite successful!

it says that "the only way to become a true home barista and make the best tasting coffee, every time".

but at $600 price tag plus shipping from UK, is this really worth the money?
I got to say that it is quite well made and reviews are not so bad at all....
    has anyone tried out this?
    please let us know.

It's interesting they show its assembly workers: they probably pay $6 to make one there...

Based on lots of reviews on various forums many say it's fantastic overall, especially for the price. Good build quality, great grind quality/consistency, near zero retention and capable of easily switching grind settings for different brew methods with little waste. I personally wouldn't get one as there are a few issues from my perspective. Main thing is it's designed with single dosing in mind, which might be fine for those that just do 1-2 doubles or try different coffees often and need to dial things in with little waste. Another issue for me is the lame wood trim on it as that looks like a 5-year old designed it. Wood has its place in life, just not a fan of that look. Opinions vary!

I try many different coffees for various methods experiments and cupping.
but honestly, I don't want to spend that much money for "an extra grinder" just for cupping..etc.

do you have any other reasonably priced grinder recommendation?
    I appreciate it.

IF I ground different coffees and at different grind levels I'd look for a quality hand mill. Most of the good hand grinders are nicely built, easy to adjust, offer grind quality/consistency on par with electric grinders costing 2-3 times more.
