no dont have a back plan, there was two business course that i wanted to try but i dont think its worth it anymore. 200 dollars for membership , 200 dollars to get in the door, hotel approxmently 300 dollars for 2 nights two coffee buinsess course 300 dollars. to a total of 1000dollars . thats not including all the other expenses such as traveling and food.

that just made me think why not just save up and go to portland for the american barista and coffee school. and do a one week class to cover up everything on coffee

Have you spent any money on the SCAA event yet?

Now that you've done some exploring and you've considered the cost, my vote would be for the American Barista and Coffee School (or something similar). Their one-week class will give you so much more of what you're looking for.
