Why bother eliminating high fructose corn syrup its just another form of sweetener. Pound for pound it's on par with sugar. Its final taste just is a little different that's all.
there is all kinds of stuff wrong with HFCS. Not only because of the way it's made but contributing to such a HUGE amount of the corn grown in the states. I'm not going to go into too much detail but there is alot of info out there about corn syrup and corn in general.
We will be introducing a syrup that is fair trade organic made with evaporated cane sugar in about 6 weeks. We also will be doing a fairtrade organic chocolate sauce and caramel sauce. The white chocolate is proving to be a more interesting one and looks like we will be going with a base of agave.
