Places like E-bay also sell "re-fillable" pods. They're plastic and you can add your own coffee to them instead of being stuck with just the Senseo line. A search for Senseo pods or something like that should bring it up. EW

I don't know if it will get rid of the smell, but I use a tablespoon full of sugar to get rid of the old coffee residue.

I always try new coffees black to get a taste for them...the majority of coffee I drink has sweetener added to it, though. Can't break the habit... EW
