    Lucky you - it is an aamzing place. I didnt even know (at the time of my visit) that it was once a supervolcano - 100km wide. We went to Tuktuk, Tonging and Parrassit from what I remember.

    Hi, I am trying to get a figure on the number of commercial businesses worldwide (not counting home roasters). It is hard even here in Italy. I found 650 - 750 quoted on the 700 on the web, though a friend in the business said that it is nearer 3000! Much appreciated if anyone knows. Mike

    I have been jittery in the past. Yes I would just like to cut down - I have about 6 mochas (each mocha 3 espresso size cups) a day. All my friends are horrified! If I can find a good reason to, I have no problem doing it... but I have not found one!

    Coffee alternative?

    Here in Italy, caffè orzo (barley coffee) is popular even in bars. Personally I like it but it should be called something different as there is no coffee in it at all. I have also heard of roasting dandelion roots (no joking), but never tried it :decaf:
