Advise Please: Looking for a Superautomatic Espresso Machine

I'm opening a new coffee bar and i'm looking for superautomatic espresso machine with a good result. For now, i have tested WMF 1400 ( 13 seconds extraction time, almost no crema...... ), JURA S95 ( white crema - have another posts as it can be grinder or membrane valve issue ), krups 8025 ( doing a solid coffee with nice color - result acceptable for me ), Jura XS95 is on it way , will be tested during the weekend.

Do you have experience with any other model of superautomatic espresso doing a decent coffee ? I want to automate it, as i will use only students in my bar and i want to have a same coffee quality no matter who is doing it

You will need to step up to a much more expensive machine to get a quality super-automatic for commercial use. Check out the Jura Giga W3

thanks guys. Basically, investment isn't a big problem, but as i will employ students only, quality may vary from employee to employee. And this is what i'm trying avoid. Just need a simple machine - press button to have exactly same cup of coffee everytime, no matters who is preparing it.

Everything depends on your budget and the quantity of cups you need to brew daily. But still, since you are opening a cafe, you must have a descent budget or your systems will fail sometime which is awkward. Jusra Giga 5 will cost around 5K and can be called a semi commercial, other is Breville BES990 which will cost around 2.2K....I suggest to have a visit here for a good list on Super automatics.

I once worked in a café that employed a lot of part time people. In order to keep the espresso and espresso drinks consistent, they installed a totally automatic machine. People couldn't tell the difference when they drank a shot of espresso or had a cappuccino or latte. The espresso dispensing and the milk foam that came from the machine was consistent. I wasn't too happy about the choice, but it worked out okay.

The machine uses boxes of liquid concentrated coffee that comes frozen. The milk comes in boxes too, and it needs to be refrigerated.

I don't know where you're located, or if it's available from distributors in your area. There are a lot of companies who provide and maintain the machines, so you may be able to find one near you.

The machine is totally automatic. A trained monkey could push the buttons and get the coffee to come out consistent every time.

Well, coffee from concentrated is just one step away from instant coffee. Since if you freeze-dry or spray-dry concentrated coffee, you get instant coffee crystals...

The machine is quick and the coffee beverages are consistent. Most people can't tell that their espressos, lattes, or cappuccinos are from an automatic machine that uses a liquid coffee concentrate.

I did some research, and I recently found out that the restaurants in about half of the casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey use this machine. The coffee is consistent and they don't have to do a lot of training of their staff to operate the coffee machine. Farmer Brothers Coffee supplies the equipment and service. They deliver the coffee, and the milk boxes, too.

So, I it looks like some people like the machine and the coffee.

Is this machine actually "self cleaning" ??? If it is, it's certainly a bonus feature. In my experience, most students (adults too) find a way to slack off (cut corners) when it comes to cleaning the coffee machines.
