I picked up an Astoria two-group from a local ad. It's relatively complete, but it needs a bit of care and reconditioning. The main thing is that the heating element is missing, and I've ordered that.
Where might I find a wiring diagram for this machine? How about a model designation?
One other question--it came with a dome with an eagle on it, which has a temperature gauge and two steamer wands. These appear to be window dressing, as there is no provision for actually making them functional and the knobs are connected to stems with no valves. Were these actually used for steaming, or just to look fancy?
