Wonder if anyone has any experience with a Technivorm Moccamaster CD or a Clubline Thermo KB741.

Thank you

I have the Technivorm Thermo KB741 and I love it.

This coffee maker makes the best drip I have ever had. I took the temperature of the watter coming out of the brew head and it was exactly 200 degrees, perfect. The coffee is so rich, no bitterness, that it just amazes me. Keep in mind I use a Ditting grinder, so I have a consistent grind, and I use excellent coffee, usually Terroir (http://www.terroircoffee.com) and sometimes Intelligentsia (http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com) to brew. I also use filtered water.

The bottom line: If you are looking for a coffee maker that will brew at the proper temperature, that is well made, and has high wattage, then the Technivorm is the best brewer I have found. (And I have looked)

I hate to buy a "pig in a poke." Does anyone know of a retail store where I can eyeball the Technivorum?

AprésCafé.comalso carries the Technivorm Moccamaster CD Thermo I think it is $250. I have one and it is well worth it. It may sound a little stupid but my Moccamaster is the one coffee brewer that feels like I am actually pulling the flavor from all of the coffee grounds and not just the ones in the middle.

Technivorm

I just purchased a Technivorm Moccamaster CD brewer. I used to be only a French Press brewer, but I acquiesed and finally bought a Technivorm. If you are willing to pay over $200 for a coffee brewer, this is a great purchase. It helps me get some idea of what any potential customers are going to taste when they use their cheaper machines.
