best coffee machine for about 1500.00 pounds (UK)

Hi all,

I know most people hate these type of posts and it just normally boils down to a battle of opinions. So sorry for that!

I am at my wits end, I am looking to buy an all singing all dancing machine that is going to last me and produce great coffee.

I have been looking at the Jura Z5 and have read conflicting views so now not sure what do.

What do you guys recommend?

I love the Z5... Once you get to know it, with all the different settings, you can produce a good espresso or Cafe-Latte... Plus, it looks super-cool...

Thanks for that, how long have you had the machine? Any problems? Is the quality of the coffee worse than another setup, any regrets?

I think I am going to get the Z5 now.

I have looked at other machines and with this sort of budget I can get a vast range of equipment and I am baically spoilt for choice! Any other views would be welcome though, please help.
