"Camp Made" coffee

I am interested in hearing about making coffee alfresco. My current favorite is a simple plastic coffee cone.

What is "alfresco" ... I'll be camping this summer at 10,000 feet and plan to test out a few methods of brewing.

Alfresco means outside. I do know that at higher elevations cooking can be tricky. Many methods exists for the outdoors. Do you have a favorite?

Hello ...

I do not have any favorite methods ... I think I'm going to bring up a french press or two and see how they work... I want to test a glass press against the thermal stainless steel presses .. it can be quite chilly in the moring in the mountains even in the summer ... Iwant to see how the steel presses work out.

Boiling water should be around 192 F ... 1 degree for every 500 feet above sea level.

Also ... I would like to test some hand powered grinders ... mills ... any ideas for a brand. I plan to bring lots of coffee !!

Any ideas on experiments ?
