go out and search out old comfortable furniture, look at local antique auctions and flee markets, you can find cool tables and chairs as well as couches cheap, everything does not have to match.
Search your town (or surroundings) for auctions, I went to an auction the other day, it was from a deli that had closed. 20 oak chairs w/ nice padding for $20, yep all 20 for $20! Let us know what you find! JuliC
