Cleaning tablets - which ones can I use?

I got myself a wonderful coffee machine recently, a Jura E6.
The cleaning tables from this manufacturer are relatively expensive, so I was wondering if anyone here had experience using generic cleaning tables, or ones from other makes?

Does it make any difference which ones I use as long as they are intended for the same type of cleaning process?
