Hi

Question from a novice;

Why does some coffee give you the jitters
and others don’t? I know the obvious the caffeine, but a mild blend from one shop & no jitters but a different mild blend diffrent shop you get the jitters?

Is it the bean, the grind, the roast, the machine or way it is prepared?

Just wondering

Thanks

Darryl,
It is most likely the concentration of coffee per ounce of water when brewed. The more coffee in the brew basket will give higher levels of caffeine.
Another possibility would be using Robusta coffee instead of Arabica. Robusta beans have almost twice the amount of caffeine as Arabica coffee.
Roast styles have little or no impact on caffeine levels in coffee.

once your body gets use to caffiene you will not get jitters that often...
