We will be roasting the Coffee of the Month, a cherry cordial. Ethiopian natural, Bereti region. Love it. I graded it at an 88. Available for purchase at https://millcityroasters.com/shop/green ... rgacheffe/

We invited Joe and Derek to critique Dave's pre-roasted effort. Let's see what is to be learned from the old man's roast <grin>.

3pm, Wed, Oct 28th, Central Time. Online and will be archived: https://millcityroasters.com/coffee-of-the-month/

Profile is attached. See you at 3pm!

I had to chuckle. Wasn't sure I wanted my roast critiqued on a livestream. All part of learning so let the cameras roll.

I noticed the last 4 months in a row scored an 88 in Cupping. Are you choosing coffees you expect to score in the same range, or was this a surprise?

Team Mill City did a great job on this presentation; highly recommended. I'm going to watch it at least one more time. And it deserves some discussion with the "experienced pros" giving their take on roasting/origin defects.

Scores? Importer keeps an eye on the "best of the best" for us. That they all scored an 88 is partially coincidental. November's cupped out at 87.75 and will be offered next week.
