97 is the highest that I have ever seen.

BUT, If you ask me, this 97 Geisha is more like 88 to 89 Geisha.
the most well known and possibly the best Geisha in the world comes from Finca Esmeralda in Panama.
mostly intelligentsia coffee buys from them and sell via their website at $99 / 8 oz.
this Esmeralda coffee is rated by SCAA / CoE Judges around 91 point.
So.... 97 point by coffeereview? None Sense.
If I send my farm coffee (honestly around 81 point SCAA) to coffeereview and advertise our company in that magazine, i am certain that I will get 91 point out of my coffee. End of Story.
PS: yes, Klatch does advertise in coffeereview.

BTW, if you go by SCAA or CoE scale of judging which is absolutely correct way, there is no 97 point.
in my career and experience, 91 is highest I have seen, in REAL WORLD of cupping.

I am stuck in 7000 feet high small town called, Quetzaltenango in Guatemala. this town closes down virtually everything by 7 pm when sun goes down.
so, I got nothing better to do in a small "hostel" except watching movie on computer, study about coffee, checking every min the scores between Houston Rockets vs. LA Clippers. I am an avid basketball fan, but of course, every sport channel in Guatemala shows SOCCER. 99% Soccer.
