Creamer or Not

Am I correct in assuming that a creamer would only hurt the intended taste of a cup of coffee? I don't see any comments about what type of creamer to use with a cup of coffee. I've been using Coffee Mate French Vanilla in my instant coffee, but now that I'm switching to ground coffee, and the taste is great, I wonder what creamer would be good to use/try.

I can't tell you not to use or to use creamer, or sugar, or some sort of spice, that's your thing not mine.

I personally don't want anything to color the flavor of my coffee, I want it black and unsweetened, but that's me. It's the same reason I don't put any sort of steak sauce on a steak, I'm eating the steak to taste the meat not the damn sauce, the same with the coffee, but billions of people put steak sauce on their steak, and they put all sorts of stuff in their coffee, so it's up to you.

I'm with you when it comes to a good steak, but for coffee I like it a bit sweet.
