Don't make this mistake!

Yesterday I'm at the grocery store, and I'm sort of in between coffees (got some Organic Timor coming from Uncommon Grounds in Berkeley, but it won't arrive till later in the week). I'm pretty cheap, as a rule, so I figure I might as well give 8 O'clock's 100% Columbian a try, as I've read good reviews of it at Consumer Reports.

Some batches may be good, but my bag was full of very stale beans, that, upon brewing, taste somewhat reminiscent of coffee. I won't be repeating this experiment again soon! :evil:

It might say 100% colombian or 100% arabica but if you notice it doesn't say anything about the grade!

Ouch sorry to hear bout the experience. It's never a good way to start your day with a bad cup of joe. This morning I am drinking a Irish coffee to start off my day and keep me warm in this cool office

8 O'Clock Coffee

Got back from work and brewed up some Sumatra Mandheling and Fara Cafe Dark Roast blend - Ahhhh! Terrific!

I think the 8 O'Clock would not be so bad were it not so stale! :evil:
