Drink your coffee without sugar:sugarcube:, artificial sweetener, or commercial creamers.
Otherwise, you are undoing all the health benefits of coffee. Excess sugar:sugarcube: intake increases the risk of insulin resistance,

suppresses the immune system, and perpetuates addictive food behavior. If you like dairy and can tolerate it, you may add

organic or preferably grass-fed whole milk or cream to your coffee. Skim or non-fat milk often has more sugar than whole

milk, while commercial creamers tend to have unsavory ingredients.

Hi,
Yes, you are right, drinking coffee with some sugar is good for health.

I do just a quick little splurge of flavored creamer. Has enough of both sugar and cream to make the coffee even out but keeping the coffee flavor.

That would be depends on the coffee. Currently, I am drinking "Colombian Geisha" that I bought from Jumpinjak Java (Bob). A wonderful coffee. Absolutely no need of anything else, except just coffee.

However, once in a while, I come across some "old roasted", "harsh tasting" and "bitter" coffee. then, I definitely need a lot of sugar and cream just to get it down into my throat.
