Is anyone willing to share some knowledge.
Any advise will be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

What beans are you working with?

I like to combine a bright top note with a solid mid and a deep bottom. (Yirgacheffe, guatemalan and sumatran.)

A bright top with a dark mid and deep bottom also works for me. (Costa Rican, dark peruvian and sumatran)

I alos like to blend a nicaraguan with guatemalan.

Or a guatemalan with a sumatran.....

I roast before blending. Imo, we get a more complex result by combining beans roasted to different levels.

Cool... I was doing Yargacheffee, Sumatra, and Colombian 40-40-20

CJ: Thanks. We just got in a bag of Colombian. I'ma try that blend you mention above, asap.

Thanks for the information. I was trying to make a drip blend in a full city roast.

That blend is from one of the online coffee roasting company recipe. They sell over 1000kg a week of that blend.... Crazy...

I am open to beans. That's why am asking before I buy bags of beans. Here is what I can get local

Colombia
Nicaraguan
Mexican
Costa Rican
Tanzanian
Kona 11.00 (negotiable)
El Salvador 2.10
Sumatra
Peru
Kenya
Brazil
Ethiopian

I would buy Sumatra, Ethiopian, Costa Rican, Colombian, and if you can get Kenya but all depends on the price you can get them for....

CJ: A similar blend to the one you mentioned above that we also do well with is Yirgacheffe, Guatemalan and Sumatran.
