electric stove top pot????

I will be travelling to the US in a few weeks, staying in a hotel. What I would like is to be able to make a decent espresso in my room each morning. When I usually go on vacation, I use a stove top pot which is great.
There will be no stove, so I am after something electric that will do the job.

It has to be portable (in my luggage), and make a decent strong coffee.

I've seen electric versions of hob tops knocking around, but cant remember where it was. I dont see any reaon why it would be any different from a standard hob top quality wise.
