Espresso for cold drinks

Hey again guys,
Haven't been active here in a little while, I had some things to attend to.
But I'm back :)

The question is that I'm looking to make a coffee martini. I have found a few recipes, but have to admit I have had no interest in cold espresso drinks before, as the crema is mostly lost?

What style of brew should I use for such a drink? Let a shot cool or should I use a "cold brew" style I keep hearing about?
