I'm on my fourth machine (Rocket Cellini 2 - or something like that) and still not happy with the results.
Here to learn how to improve.

Hi, I have a Cellini with PID. I've had it for about 6 years now and I love it. What are you not happy about with the Cellini?

I've moved on, now, after the pump head failed.
What I was disappointed with most was my ability to create microfoamed milk for Latte art.
And still cannot do so reliably on my subsequent machine.

Wow! That's a shame. My Cellini makes great microfoam. It's just a matter of practice, getting the whirlpool going and not over heating the milk. Oh, and keeping the tip in the milk and not blowing bubbles.

Different machines perform in different ways.
I went on a Barista course and made perfect microfilm first time (ECM machine) but still can't achieve the same result at home. I 'practice' most days but consistency eludes me!

Agree about machines being different. I had a Jura and that thing couldn't foam milk at all! I had a Pavoni and it did a pretty good job but there was only enough water in the chamber to make 2 shots and foam....so only 1 cup at a time. I've found the Rocket does the best job both for coffee and foam.
