I use the coffeemaker and the "café apagado" is like cowboy or café de olla. I hope to buy an expresso machine soon :)

I use a Krups MokaBrew, sometimes a Mr. Coffee 4 cup auto drip machine (sorry, only when I am in a hurry in the AM), occaisionally a French press, and I am thinking about a single cup pod/pad brewer for my office.

Cafe de Olla is mexican. You prepare the coffee and add cinamon sticks, and yes is very hot! and in the country side, they boil the water and add the coffee, and you turn off the heat, that is apagado, but with my friends we say apagado, other people say other names for this method.
I'll ask for more ways to prepare the coffee in the farms OK :)
