Hello all

I'm new to the boards! I'm a 26 Y/O married RN who LOVES coffee!

I'm here to learn new information and help troubleshoot with others.

I haven't heard too much about others with a Rancilio Silvia? Any others?

It's actually quite a nice machine with the ability to pour an exceptional shot of espresso. I have one at home and I modified it with PID...it now can stand toe to toe with my LM Linea (almost). For a home machine it is quite good, carries a great reputation and has a very loyal following, all for good reason.
Some roasters don't like them because the machine is not very forgiving, and will show the roasters shortcomings in the cup.

but get a good grinder to go with it,
where are you in Oregon anyway? we are in Elmira Outside Eugene
