Hi All,
I'm an expat living in Colombia. I'm in talks with a few farms to help export their coffee to the US. As you may or may not know, its a bit tricky down here with the rules of the FNC. I'm talking to a "trillador" and he told me that I need to have a Coffee Importers License in the US that I need to send to the FNC before I can start importing.
Is anyone who has experience importing coffee into the US familiar with this license? If so, I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction to where I could learn more about it.
(On a side note, I spoke with my customs broker and he just mentioned the Prior Notice Filing and Food Facility Registration... but nothing about a license).
Thanks in advance,
Stephen
