I know this is pretty stupid, but I left the coffee maker on this evening while leaving for my parents' house. Well, this coffee maker doesn't have an "auto-off" feature as far as I know. I am about 200 miles from my apartment. Should I be worried and should I go down and turn it off? I am planning to stay here for about 2 days. I will be back there on Monday. Can this wait?

Did you leave any coffee in the pot on the warmer?
Actually the machine is designed not to spontaneously burst into flames but it would be best if you had some friends with keys to your place or something like that. Maybe somone that you trust that is really good at breaking and entering?

I don't have any such friends, but I called a neighbor who went to my apt. She doesn't have the keys but she said that she doesn't think anything is wrong. No smell of anything burning. Plus the answering machine is still working so the apt hasn't caught fire =D 23 hours to go!!!! Thank you.
