hi, just to share some details of this machine, for the records and general information

recently found it close to my place, sad story, no more comments
it was a nice combo coffee machine + grinder

i can post no pics until 5 posts so this is number 3

...but 30 seconds between posts....

...new try ,...4 more seconds

not tyet only 4

it is not small, OMG !

ok now this is number 5, i will post a pic

this is it
not small, OMG !

so apparently i can start my thread here;

pretty sturdy group i would say, does the number (k90) say something to the experts ?

it seems to me pretty clean inside

to make a long story short,

this is a 7 liter boiler, one group, manual lever machine
one resistance 650Watt
vapour and hot water taps
manometer, and pressostat, and 2 safety valves

yes, two valves, which BTW i converted into 1 valve and 1 cap to fill in the boiler

i cleaned, descaled, change seals and gaskets, new resistance, e voila !

it makes good coffee, and works perfect.

a bit big for my place, but i will try to survive with it

so i have been able to get the original manual and exploded parts diagrams,

also removed the group and disassemble the piston, seals are in terrible shape, the bottom one, the shower one is as rigid as a stone

meanwhile i have an idea for the manual water filling procedure

as a mechanical eng, i know there is not a reason for two safety valves so we will try this:

1- put a new safety valve in one of the holes
2- use the other hole as a port for filling water
3- add an anti-vaccum valve making a change in one of the 90 deg. pipes

to implement my water filling idea:

combining the threaded part of the used safety valve and my old lapavoni cap

i threaded the brass piece in order to run a bolt through it,

also modified the bakelite cap to insert it, using some epoxi to reinforce and block it

still need to get a shorter SS bolt to complete it, but tried it and it does the trick

...TBC...TBC...TBC

...sorry, apparently message was too short i had to go to at least 10 char.

it has been a while,

thank you for responses and ideas pm’d, it has been very helpful, i think it would be better to comment here in the thread, dont be shy

continuing the dissasemble and some cleaning
