From my mum! Seriously though, in New Zealand and Australia scones are an institutional favorite at cafes all over both countries. Why? a/. they taste good and b/.they are very, very, very easy to make! I would say give it a go yourself if you have the kitchen/prep facilities in your cafe :grin:
