I started out with the Starbucks Barista (non-digital) in ~ 7/04. After only 3 months the pump was leaking water all over and Starbucks offered an exchange and upgrade by sending me a Starbucks Digital Barista at no additional charge. After only a few months I was having issues with the machine, spending quite a bit of time on the phone with Starbucks Service. After approximately a year now with the digital machine Starbucks has told me to scrap the machine and (with my receipt) are thankfully providing a full refund. The machine is indeed a Saeco and is simply rebranded Starbucks. I am currently in the market for a new machine but given my bad experience with Saeco (via a Starbucks brand) am staying away from Seaco. Starbucks quit selling the Seaco re-branded machines a few months ago, seemingly due to the quality issues.
