There are no Mom and Pop shops near me

There are three Starbucks within 5 minutes from my house. I've gone to each of them to meet up with friends or just to get away for a few minutes for an espresso and a cigar.

For the life of me, I was trying to think of a nearby Coffee shop that I could visit and could not think of one. I checked the yellow pages online and found two shops but, they were a thirty minute drive minimum. That's a little out of the way.

I wish there was someplace closer. All I have are the big chains (Starbucks, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts, etc).

where are you in Tampa? I know of a few places...if you ever get out to Clearwater there is a place on Drew Street just past Hercules called New Harmony coffee and tea...they roast their own and are great people...

Are you near St. Pete?

We have a ton of coffee shops here (I own one called the Globe in downtown St. Pete). There's several others, and some are always opening and closing.
