Have you looked into the countertop small batch roaster by Toper? They have the 1KG per batch in Electric and Gas.

I have a Diedrich IR-3 (6.6lb) roaster and afterburner for sale currently. It may be bigger that you are looking for, but I've owned it only 14 months and already need to upgrade. Room to grow is a great thing i'm finding out.
