Hi!

I am in the research stage of starting a coffee shop, since I am so new to the whole idea I probably won't be opening anything for atleast a year. After looking through this board and other sites I am having trouble deciding what coffee machine to use. I am looking for something capable of producing a hyprothetical 25-50 cups per hour. I personally use a french press with great results but I can see this becoming troublesome on a busy day. So what does everyone use? What style of brewer? Any suggetions?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I use a Bunn Axiom Twin APS for drip and a GM Espressimo 1750 for espresso. Don't forget good grinders, a consistent grind is very improtant.

Astoria semi, not programed, astoria grinders, Cafe 98 barista series brewers with astoria grinders for esspresso and a commercial grinder I picked up from a chain grocery store lol

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys, I appreciate it. Any other suggestions are certainly welcomed and much appreciated.

Thanks!

Ryan

Buy the best grinder within your budget, then look into espresso machine. Just curious, how do you come about 25 - 50 cups an hour?

I use San Marino and Astoria machines (Same manufacturer). My new venture has a 3 group lever Astoria Rapallo. It is fantastic. Theral renaissance now for lever machines. The quality of shot is fantastic. A 2 group- lever or Semi as Tophie mentioned would work
