Why most of the Americans like Death Wish Coffee beans the most than other brands?

Thanks for sharing your views. Actually I was planning to do a round up on some of the best coffee brands and I was shocked to see how people are going crazy for Death wish.

I think and believe that MOST of Americans do not like Deathwish coffee beans.
it is purely marketing coffee brand.
I actually bought some and taste them. WASN'T GOOD AT ALL!!!!

it claims to have a lot of caffeine, but it is again all marketing, it does not make much difference than my other coffees, except tasting much worse than the coffees that I bring from Guatemala or from our other forum roasters.

PS: I think that long time ago, I even did some evaluation of this coffee and post them here ... long time ago

Agreed. It is NOT good. THey won a super bowl ad last year or the year before and they have clever marketing. I think the coffee is also Robusta, not arabica.

I think the Robusta supposedly had 80 some odd percent more caffeine that arabica 1.2% vs 2.2%, I didn't notice it but someone more sensitive to caffeine told me they noticed it, I recently had their seasonal blend and it was not bad it was actually very good in a cold brew but I think if you're comparing it to third wave you might be disappointed but it's good not amazing for 2nd wave.

We have recently introduced a Robusta & Arabica blend based on customer demand, high tolerances, and tweaked taste buds.

We enjoy roasting and experimenting with everything from Blonde to Balck. Light to medium Indonesian and Ugandan are our favorite! And yes we bought two Roasters from Mill City Roasters and love them.

We support open coffee relationships and are quite small. Just my wife and myself!

I tried some of their coffee but was not too impressed. I could get a better cup from local roasters. However, I do admire some of their coffe cups and have two of them.

It is a terrible thing to live in America and like good coffee. Even my wife says that she would not do what I do for coffee, I hear about how bad it was every time she gets someone else's joe.
