Worth fixing? Sunbeam Cafe Series

Hi all,

My trusty machine just stopped working. No lights, and wont power up. I have put in a service call, but not heard back yet.

The machine is probably 6-7 years old. Do you think it would be worth repairing, or is this a typical age they start to die.
