Bambino Plus Steamer

I have been getting lovely micro foam with the automatic steaming for a while now. I just cleaned the wand and used the cleaning tool. Now I no longer am getting the micro foam. This happened the last time I did a cleaning and it was ages before it returned to the micro foam. I don't understand.

so what is the outcome? did it return to normal? would you recommend the plus? I was looking very closely at one but recently decided against it.

It has slowly over the past two weeks returned to the consistency I like. I am not going to use the cleaning tool on the wand again, unless it is clearly clogged.

That sounds so strange. It almost seems as if the wand works better when it's partially clogged up? Good coffee is more art that science, as I'm sure you know. I ended up buying the Rocket Mozzifiato. It's not perfect either.

The Bambino's wand nozzle has 4 holes which is more that other machines. I think that this is too much and the wand works better when they are partially blocked. Just my opinion. I should also mention that I use the auto steaming as I can't manage manual due to the arthritis in my hands.

I do love this machine and after lots of experimenting now get consistently good coffee.
