A K Cup for example I feel the tastes isn't as great in a Keurig or strong even if strong setting. If I use Chock full of nuts coffee in Keurig its not the same then in a perculator.

Let me rephrase I noticed keurigs don't give a full flavored taste unlike a perculator a bit watered down. Also the coffee appears it doesn't stay as hot compared to pouring from a perculator. I love the pods and Keurigs to use own coffee. I am just looking for something to replace a perculator...

I have had Keurigs but still have not found a single serve pod or own grinds machine where the coffee is perfect 195degrees which is ideal. I noticed its never hot enough or taste not as strong.

I think I figured it out. It didn't mention it but the carafe has a knob on the lid that I think needs to stay on when making a "carafe" instead of opening it to fill the carafe. I noticed this knob allows the filter water to come through. I already contacted Keurig. It would have been nice to...

I followed the instructions what to do when first received on set up and cleansing cycle before making first cup. No mention of anything blocking it.

Yes I ran the carafe cleansing cycle 8 cup and the carafe was filled. After the carafe filled and I pulled this open I noticed it.
