Unfortunately, after 20 years, due to cost of printing, distribution, and maintaining a professional editorial staff, the May 2014 issue was the last for Specialty Coffee Retailer. You will have to look for me in other venues.

John, so much enjoyed the article. Also past ones, I was able to view. I'm sure there will be another venue for you. Maybe Coffee Talk might publish future
articles. I do enjoy that mag. Plus the Daily Dose emails. Just a thank you for maintaining the highest standards in the coffee world.
Little by little seems to be trickling more toward the East coast. I should narrow that to CT. Seems we are behind NJ, NY, MA, Maine, and Vermont.
I so appreciate folks like yourself in what I call the progressive coffee movement.

I'm curious, what kinds of adjustable burr grinders do you have available to sell to your customers?

We offer Baratza Grinders, which are the best grinder at each price point on the market. We offer the $129 Encore and teh $449 Vario (out of stock). We also offer an adjustable ceramic, conical burr coffee mill for $34. This is the same grinder that Hario and Kyocera sell for $45-$60. We buy direct from the manufacturer. Certainly there are people with lousy grinders, but over time they upgrade, and many customers tell us what grinders they have just so we know that they know what they are doing. And that's cool.

As a good friend and 30+ year PR and Marketing specialist said about it, "There can absolutely be no equivocating. If you're selling ground coffee, everything you do has to be called into question. You certainly can't talk about quality. It's that simple."
