Breville Barista Express grind amount

Hey all I noticed that when I grind for one or two shots the basket never seems to fill enough. The grind amount setting is almost to the max. Any suggestions would be great. My grind size is at 5 and the grind amount setting have one more adjustment before it's maxed out.
