These two were purchased by a friend off Craigslist for a commercial Gaggia but did not fit.
Can anyone tell me what machine they are for? Maybe he can recoup some of his losses.
Ears are at 2 & 7
measurements =
outer rim of filter is about 70.4mm
top edge of filter rim to top of ear is about 8.4mm
ear is about 5.5mm thick

To me, it looks like Nuova Simonnelli VIP pro portafilters. but its really hard to tell by looking at the pictures.

Yeh it's too hard to tell but looks similar to the Nuova Simonnelli PFs.

Not too sure about Nuova Simonnelli PFs. But they look like the portafilters that fit the C.M.A. machines(Rio espresso, Astoria, etc.)
Ears not quite 2(about 1:30 No joking!) and 7. I have both a Rio 2 grp. and an Astoria 2grp., and boy your pics look like they will fit
these machines.

Yes, they are solid heavy good quality.
Any chance anyone can check the measurements I posted with one of their PFs

here are the specs from my NS pfs.
ears at 2&7 o'clock
length of ear approx. 26 mm.
o.d from ear to ear approx. 80.5 mm
o.d. of rim only 70 mm.
overall length 225 mm.
by the specs. seems yours will fit a
Nuova Simonelli machine.
look on the bottom of the pf for any logo.028.webp026.webp

Thanks, I'll put it in the car and next time I am somewhere using a Nouva Simonelli I'll see if I can try it. There are no logos or marks anywhere on either.

I thought that may be odd, but I just checked my CC1 PF's and their the same, no logos or markings anywhere.
