Coffee brewing

Hello, people often find problems while brewing coffee. Please suggest certain prevention measures for committing mistakes while brewing coffee.

If you have fresh coffee, Filtered water, and a decent brewer you should be ok. Biggest issue I have seen people have is the coffee is either stale or the coffee brewer can not heat the water hot enough to extract all the flavor from the coffee.
