I like gadgets and bought an AeroPress. As I understand the instructions, you're supposed to make a concentrate (espresso) and then dilute to taste. Why not just put enough water in it for an 8 oz cup and plunge for an 8 oz serving?
I know you can put enough coffee in it for 4 servings, and produce 8 oz of concentrate - that you're then supposed to dilute.
Would using 8 oz of water though only enough coffee for one 8 oz serving 'rinse' the coffee too much? I'm not a coffee aficionado, but would there be there much difference in the taste by the 2 methods?
