Chocolate cake is great with most medium to dark roast coffee while the sweeter mousse cake is delicious with most Arabica coffees. Iced coffee mixed with vanilla coffee syrup can do well with chocolate strawberry cake. Next to chocolate, one of the most loved cake varieties is cheesecake

I have found Affogato to be incredibly delicious. Very simple. Vanilla Bean ice cream with espresso (or any coffee you like) poured over it. Another great pairing is coffee with Key Lime pie. What about coffee with coffee cake? That probably should be first on the list. But it has to be good coffee cake. Made with sufficient amounts of butter. Not good for you. But delicious. Then there is something called Chocolate Toffee Trifle. Layers of chocolate coffee cake, whipped cream and toffee bits. Nothing better in this world. Well, maybe.
